The Twins is a fortified river crossing in the Riverlands, and is the seat of House Frey. The Twins are made up of two identical towers on either side of the Green Fork of the Trident, with a bridge arching between them. It is the only crossing point over the Green Fork for hundreds of miles in either direction, and it lies on the road between Winterfell and Riverrun.

The current head of House Frey is Walder Frey.
